WTS Paradigm Supports Local Organization to Help End Hunger

19 teams joined up with Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOM) on Thursday, May 3rd, to participate in the annual Canstruction competition in the KEVA Sports Center in Middleton, WI. Between the 19 teams, over 28 tons of food was donated to MOM’s food pantry. Volunteers from WTS Paradigm worked at KEVA from 7:00 AM until 1:30 PM to build the Mario game structure out of cans. In total, WTS Paradigm’s structure consisted of 3,984 cans that included baked beans, sweet peas, ranchero beans, pinto beans, garbanzo beans, pork & beans, peaches, tomato sauce, and three bean salad. All food donated will contribute to MOM’s mission to end hunger in the greater Middleton area.

WTS Paradigm Supports Local Organization to Help Prevent Homelessness

WTS Paradigm was honored to be a gold sponsor for the 2012 Home for the Holidays event. This annual event held by Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOM) raises money to help prevent homelessness for local families. The evening featured the premiere of the live radio play It’s A Wonderful Life, and a silent auction. Employees from WTS Paradigm were present at the performance to help hand out programs, collect tickets, set up food and auction items, and clean up after the event.

WTS Paradigm Holds Third Annual Madison City Scour Team Building Event for Employees

For the third year in a row, WTS Paradigm, the established leader in configuration technology for the building products industry, held its Madison City Scour event for employees.

On October 25, WTS Paradigm employees were split into 24 teams and were given over 100 clues leading to different locations in downtown Madison. WTS Paradigm works to promote a culture of teamwork, problem solving, and fun. The City Scour event is designed around those principals and employees can enjoy the camaraderie of their fellow employees and focus on team building that they bring back to work.

On Saturday, August 18, WTS Paradigm employees volunteered their time to help build a home for the Walters family.

WTS Paradigm Partner, MI Windows and Doors, Donates to Homes for Our Troops

MI Windows and Doors (MIWD), one of America’s leading window and door manufacturers, donated and helped to install a complete window package of new MI EnergyCore windows into a Homes for Our Troops (HFOT) home being built in Parker, Colorado. The home was built for Army Corporal Nick Orchowski and his family.

Cooking Up Charity

On Friday, May 18th, WTS Paradigm held their third annual charity cookout. Employees had the opportunity to donate to three charities, the Dane County Humane Society, the American Cancer Society, and Middleton Outreach Ministry. Employees donated a total of $2,905 which will be matched dollar for dollar by WTS Paradigm!

“The event has been a success the last two years so we decided to do it again this year and had a great turnout,” stated Nathan Herbst, CEO of WTS Paradigm. “It is great to see our staff have a great time all while supporting three deserving charities. Thank you to everyone involved.”

The donations were accompanied by an afternoon of grilling out and enjoying time with colleagues and families.

WTS Paradigm Volunteers for a Local Cause

22 teams joined up with Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOM) on Thursday, May 3rd, to participate in the annual Canstruction competition in the KEVA Sports Center in Middleton, WI. Between the 22 teams, over 28 tons of food was donated to Middleton Outreach Ministry’s food pantry.

Volunteers from WTS Paradigm worked all morning at the KEVA Sports Center building an Easter Island Moai Head sculpture out of cans and Ramen Noodles. In total WTS Paradigm’s structure used 400 cans of peaches, 300 cans of tomatoes, 400 cans of pinto beans, and 1440 individual Ramen Noodles packages.

Over 1,000 people attended the Canstruction event to celebrate the completion of the structures and take part in voting for their favorite structures. Area design professionals judged the structures for structural integrity, design, and appearance. MOM also invited the public to view the sculptures and to vote on their favorite structures for the People’s Choice Award. Public spectators each donated at least one item of canned food as admission to the event. WTS Paradigm did not win any awards; however, everyone had a great time participating all while giving back to the community. Thank you to everyone involved!
